16 [a]Ye men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, Which the (A)holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before of Judas, which was (B)guide to them that took Jesus.

17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained fellowship in this ministration.

18 He therefore hath [b]purchased a field with the reward of iniquity: and when (C)he had [c]thrown down himself headlong, he brast asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
